TOPIC: Just Registered - bit of history

Just Registered - bit of history 8 Years, 9 Months ago
I have just found this website and registered. I signed up in London Ontario (1961) and completed my training at Camp Gagetown. Joined the 2nd Battalion and remained at Gagetown until 1962 when I was a member of the advance party that went to Ft St Louis to replace the 1st Battalion. I remained at Ft St Louis until I was discharged in 1963. I returned to the UK as this was my home country. It was sad to read about the the death of Ken Byron as I remember him as my CSM and the fact that he tried to persuade me to sign on for longer.
