It is with regret that we advise you of the passing of Gordon MacFarlane Betts, CD.
Gordon is yet another of our few remaining WW2 Vets to leave us.

Along with his World War Two service with the 1st Battalion, Gordon was a lifelong supporter of the Regiment and Regimental Family, serving with 3RHC after WW2 and following that up with active participation in the Montreal Branch of our Association right up until his death.
We have lost a stalwart soldier, member, friend and mentor.

Gordy, as he was known to many in his retirement years, passed away peacefully in the presence of his family on August 13, 2013.

A funeral service will take place on August 22 at 11h30 at the Collins Clarke Funeral Home in Pointe Claire, Quebec, followed by interment in the Field of Honor at 13h00.
