I am on the Admin team at the Black Watch Forums. One of our users left this sad post.

I had a call from the Home on Friday night that my old friend was not well. I went in and sat with him for a few hours and unfortunately he died a few hours later. He was John Duncan Davidson; 1921 to 2011. 1st Bn. BW-RHC fought through WW II and was badly wounded several times. He was dedicated to all things Black Watch, both Canadian and Imperial. Just thought you may want to know of this proud Veteran's passing.
