WEYMAN, J.A. (Jack) 2 Years, 11 Months ago
Black Watch and RCR friends:

Regret to report the passing of Jack Weyman on Tuesday at the Veterans Health Unit in Fredericton, NB.
Jack’s service number suggests that he enlisted around the time that the Canadian Highland Battalions were being raised for service overseas (1951 – 1953) but details of his involvement (if any) are unavailable. At some time late in that era, he joined 1st Battalion, The Black Watch RHC and served with the unit in Germany and Cyprus. He was a fixture in the unit’s Transport Platoon and, when 1st and 2nd RHC morphed into 2RCR, Jack remained with Transport.
In retirement, for a number of years Jack assumed responsibilities, on behalf our RHC Atlantic Branch/ New Brunswick Chapter, for the 42nd ( Black Watch) Regiment Memorial Cemetery near Taymouth, NB.

It is with broken hearts the family of John “Jack” Archie Weyman announce his passing at the DVA Health Unit, Fredericton, NB on Tuesday, May 25, 2021. He was the son of the late Archie and Margaret (McIsaac) Weyman of Glace Bay, NS; his mother passed away when he was four years old and he was brought up by his father and step mother, Viola (Bridel) Weyman (whom he called MAW) in Cape Breton and New Glasgow, NS. He spent 15 years with the Scout Movement in Oromocto and Fredericton, NB, and was a member of the Black Watch Association of NB. His leisure time was spent at the love of our hearts, our beloved cottage on the South West Miramichi in Priceville, NB.

Jack will be forever missed by his wife, Molly (Price) Lewis; his children, David Weyman and Debra Weyman (Kory Watts) of Ottawa, ON; grandchildren, Matthew, Jordan and Josh Weyman (David) and Derrick and Devon Weyman (John) of Ottawa, ON; step son, Mark Lewis and his children, Daphne and Lachlan of Nova Scotia; special niece, Keysha DuPont; brothers in law, Allan Price, Coburn Price (Judy), George Price (Anna) of McNamee, NB and Ernest Price (Hennie) of Ontario, Jeff and Doug Price of Alberta; sisters in law, Eva Stewart (Gerry) of McNamee, NB and Margaret Cain of Presque Isle, ME.
