LeBlanc, John Henry 5 Years, 3 Months ago
The passing of John LeBlanc occurred on Sunday, February 3, 2019.

John is survived by his loving wife, Dianne LeBlanc (Doucette); daughter, Shianne Doucette; son, Jason LeBlanc; granddaughter, Abbie LeBlanc; brothers, Bob LeBlanc (Gloria) and Eric LeBlanc both of Amherst, NS; sister, Angela LeBlanc; two nieces and several nephews who were very dear to his heart.

John was born on September 23, 1949, in Amherst, Nova Scotia and was predeceased by his first wife, Angela LeBlanc (LeBlanc); parents, Henry and Leona Pearl LeBlanc (Ibbitson); step-mother, Alice LeBlanc (Gothreau) and his brothers, Gordon LeBlanc and Roger LeBlanc.

John served with the Black Watch Second Battalion, and 2RCR. He retired as a Warrant Officer. After his service with the Military he enjoyed his time at Magaguadavic Lake, volunteering, hunting with family and fly fishing on the Miramichi with friends.

John held a special place in his wife’s large extended family who considered him an honorary Doucette.

The family wishes to acknowledge the excellent care John received from his many doctors, the Extramural nurses and all the staff and volunteers at Fredericton Hospice.

Honouring John’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service, at a later date there will be private celebrations of life in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick for John.

For those wishing to make a donation in memory of John, the family has suggested the Fredericton Hospice for the wonderful care he received there. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
