Black Watch friends:
Regret to report the passing of Stan Pilkie on Saturday 8 September in London, Ontario.
Stan graduated from The Black Watch Depot in 1958 and was posted to our 2nd Battalion in which he served in Gagetown, Germany and Cyprus.
Stan was a perennial member of 2nd Battalion’s national- and international-trophy-winning rifle team. He re-badged 2RCR in 1970.
Have not been able to locate an obit but understand Stan had requested to not have a memorial service.
