Predeceased by his brother George Eccles Nixon (May 1945) and son-in-law Richard Hugh MacKenzie (February 1999). A WWII veteran, Joe served as an officer (Lieut. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME A.W. MILES CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Davisville Avenue) from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 14. A service will be held in the chapel on Monday, August 15 at 11:00 a.m. If desired, donations may be made to Community Living Toronto Central Region, 20 Spadina Road, Toronto M5R 2S7 or to The Blue Mountain Foundation for the Arts Robert Kemp Trust, 163 Hurontario Street, Collingwood L9Y 4E8.
