Ambrose "Andy" Joseph Wall
It is with great sadness that the family of Ambrose "Andy" Joseph Wall announces his passing on Friday, April 14, 2017 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital.
Born in Pouch Cove, NL on March 21, 1943, he was the son of the late Patrick and Jane Wall.
Ambrose served in the military from January 1962 to March 1995. During that time he was a member of the Black Watch and 2RCR
Andy is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Sherry (Edwards); children, Mark (Kim), Jason (Joanne), and Aaron Wall, Farrah (Murray) Kennedy and Courtney (Mathew) Allen; grandchildren, Amy, Jordan, Victoria, Ryan, Renee, Sam, Rory, Piper, Isabella and Oliver; brother, Robert (Marilyn); sisters, Margaret, Alice and Kathleen (Connie); sisters-in-law, Angela Wall, Pam Wall-Jordan and Judy Wall; brother-in-law, Keith Edwards (Lorraine) as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Andy is predeceased by brothers, Dominic, Leo, Dan and Patrick and a sister, Patricia.
In keeping with his wishes, there will be no visitation. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 25 Loisville Street, Oromocto, NB on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at 11:00 am with Fr. Antonio Reyes as celebrant. A reception will follow at the church hall.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated.
The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses of 4SE and a special thank you to Meghan for her care and compassion.
Oromocto Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.
With thanks to Harry Gordon for the foregoing.

So sad, Andy was one of the kindest people I knew in the Watch. Always a smile and a laugh from Andy. Although I was only a young soldier when I met him he helped us young ones fit in. RIP Andy.
