These two photographs are also from my friend Major Al Ditter (ret'd) and were taken at Baden-Soellingen in the fall of 1972 on the day of 3 Mech Cdo's departure for the fall exercises. Then Major Bob Alden (on the left) was the OC of C Company, 3 Mech Cdo. He would have been 33 at the time. With him is Capt Lew Evans (ex Cdn Guards). I believe Evans was the Company 2i/c.
