I can't wait! 14 Years, 4 Months ago  
Hi,

I did the physical aptitude test almost 2 weeks ago, and I was wondering when the Black Watch would call me up... I've passed all the tests (aptitude, physical, interview), and my papers were sent to Ottawa like 2 months ago.

How long does it usually take for the regiment to call a recruit once s/he is done with the tests?

I am very enthusiastic about joining the military, and I hope they will call me soon.

Just be a little patient tony - the Regiment must wait for finalization from NDHQ in Ottawa and now with the holidays upon us, the Regiments all close. They will contact you when they are able to in the New Year. Good luck and welcome to our fabulous Regimental Family!

Back in my days, joining was a snap. Go to the Unit, pass Medical, pick up kit, go on BMT then into Trade Training, which in our case is hurry up and wait.
