The air cadet organization gives you opportunities for widening your interests and developing new skills. The courses offered provide the cadets with the required skills and knowledge in order to meet the aims of the Royal Canadian Air Cadets.

Weekly Training is on Tuesday nights during the school year where the cadets can engage in the kind of activities that appeal to them. Under the guidance of instructors they study the fascinating lore of aviation, acquire new skills, and develop qualities of leadership. Throughout the year there are numerous activities in which the cadets are encouraged to participate in, such as, cultural visits to Ottawa, sports, band, drill team, flying school, and many more.

The squadron has a harmony band where the cadets are taught to play an instrument such as, a trumpet, a trombone, a xylophone, drums, and many more. The squadron also has its own drill team where the cadets perform synchronised and precision drill movement. The drill team provides an excellent way of developing physical coordination and team spirit.
