MISCELLANEOUS:
A request from an author - T. Robert Fowler is writing a book dealing with "courage in battle" and gallantry decorations awarded to Canadian soldiers from the War of 1812 through to the Korean War. He is on the chapter of the Second World War and would like to invite army veterans to send him their views, from their own personal experiences, on courage in battle. Mr. Fowler would also be interested in any thoughts they have regarding policies and practices that were used to reward courage by awarding of gallantry decorations or even if they personally know of some special act of extraordinary courage.

He can be contacted at 22 Parkside Cr., Nepean, Ontario K2G 3B5, or by e-mail at:
bfowler@travel-net.com or by telephone at 613-224-3052.
